Siebel Tools Could Not Connect To Datasource For Event Api

I need to connect to the oracle server using Siebel tools. First I created an ODBC Data Source and tested the connection. It was successful.

So is there any other configurations to be done within the tool?
Messages printed by beasvc.exe to the event log were not readable in Japanese locale. When a Managed Server could note connect to the Administration Server. You do not need to create a new repository file if you already have an existing repository. If you have an existing repository file, you can use the existing data source settings in that file as a template to connect to different data sources.

Yes, you need a .cfg file which has the ServerDataSrc pointing to the server TNS entry. The ODBC data source is required during checkin/checkout operations. Refer this link to understand the .cfg parameters.
