Look on ebay, I got the same 6 volume OEM set the local dealer has and or works from for $200 or just under.
Was well worth it for one repair and a complete service of my 4630. The set was new and seemed like OEM and not a re-print.
There are others out there as well.

thanks. For your help, but only has 4610su prior to 84. Mines late 87. Dont know what's the difference but them saying prior to 84 makes me think there is a difference

No sure about the 4610 but the service manuals normally cover all of the models in that series, in 84 or 85 the 5610 and 6610 where changed from mechanical steering to hydrastat steering, I believe there were changes in the hydraulics around that time also.

its frustrating when they change like that. I only found one person on ebay with the book for my year and he wants 1000 bucks. He can keep it. He could have made copies of it and sold a few of them

That's NH's publication number for the service manuals for your tractor.
There's a full 6 volume set on eBay for $224.95 plus shipping.

Just found another set for $195 but I'm going to buy them myself to cover my 6610.
One thing that might help if you want something cheaper is, in NH's publication listing they call the 86 and newer models Series II so google 4610 II and see what you get.

That is the set I have and mentioned below, link attached.
Glad D-450 posted the ebay number. Mine were actually new, but good used OEM is always better than most re-prints and I am not sure about I&T manuals on these, never worked from those, always found OEM manuals for things right on ebay.
My set is a newer version with the New Holland logo, same content 10 & 30 series tractors.
Definitely recommend having this 6 volume set, it covers a lot and will certainly help you with repairs & good luck on yours !

that's great. I still haven't had the chance to get mine. Still trying to figure out the other oil filter I found under clutch side foot rest. Also what kind of trans fluid is the best for these old beasts.

The oil filter under the left step is the suction filler for the hydraulic pump in the rear axle.
Same filter was used on 4600, 4610, 4630.
NH # D8NNB486CA crosses to 84518613 $18
Hyd oil that meets Ford 134 spec, NH Ambra is one
I use Rural King Cam2 J20-C
303 oils are not recommended for your tractor.

wow I almost picked up the 303 at tractor supply. Is the rearend the Sam hydraulic fluid as the trans. Capacity says 12.1 gal. And I figured the gearbox cant hold all that.
